10th International Combustion Institute Winter School

Submissions

English is the official language of the School. Therefore, all abstracts, lectures, courses, and poster sessions must be delivered in English.

Submissions must be made at the Indico submission system (https://indico.feq.unicamp.br/event/9/abstracts/) and include an abstract of your research (400 words). The abstract must be written in a dedicated field during submission. Therefore, there is no template for abstracts.

During submission, students that perform activities in the field of combustion may apply for scholarships that will support accommodation in the School. In this case, the student should also attach the following documents (pdf files):

  • Personal statement explaining why you should receive the scholarship (1 page);

  • A reference letter from your supervisor (1 page).

All submissions will be evaluated according to the participation of the student in the field of combustion; the contribution and adequacy of the abstract to the topics of interest of the event; and recommendations provided by the student’s advisor. Should your submission be approved (with or without a granted scholarship), you will receive a notification by e-mail.

Please note that students who receive scholarships must be the presenting authors of their posters and attend all lectures and courses. These actions are necessary for the abstracts to be included in the event program and students receive the certificate of participation in the School.
