Transfer

The 10th CI-WS will be held at the “Zeferino Vaz” campus of the University of Campinas, located at Campinas, São Paulo. Campinas is the center of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas, located approximately 100 km from São Paulo, the state capital. Campinas is a transportation hub, served by major highways that pass through the city, a city bus station, and two international airports.

Several bus companies have stops at the Campinas Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas). The bus station is located at R. Dr. Pereira Lima, 85 – Vila Industrial (Campinas), Campinas – SP, approximately 12 km from UNICAMP. For those flying to the São Paulo state, flights to either the São Paulo/Guarulhos or Viracopos International Airports are advised. 

The São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport is located 130 km away from UNICAMP. Participants arriving at São Paulo may purchase bus tickets to Campinas through the Lirabus or Viação Cometa companies, which stop at the Campinas Bus Station. 

The Viracopos International Airport is located 35 km away from UNICAMP. Participants arriving at this airport may reach Campinas by Uber or taxi. Alternatively, participants may purchase bus tickets to the Campinas Bus Station through the Lirabus company, which stops at the Campinas Bus Station. 

In all cases, bus tickets can be bought either online or at the bus company counters at the airport.To arrive at UNICAMP or the Barão Geraldo district, School participants may take an Uber, taxi, or public transportation (332 line bus). Please note that public transport will take much longer than the other options to arrive at the university.
