We at i9UFPR (Innovation Ecosystem), the Startup Experience Initiative Program, and the Institute of Applied Technological Solutions welcome all brave men and women who seek to explore an admirable new world full of opportunities, strong interaction with the productive sector, and with the Innovation Ecosystem of the State of Paraná.

The 8th PITCH DAY 2025 will take place on November 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rua Carlos de Laet, 1015 (Vila Hauer neighborhood – Curitiba – PR), in front of BodeBrown Brewery. At this event, technological, educational, and research projects will be presented in an innovative format, focusing on:

• technology transfer,


• soft skills training,


• partnership development, and


• social transformation.

Teams of students, staff, and professors from UFPR, UTFPR, PUCPR, as well as participants of the 28th COBEM – International Congress of Mechanical Engineering, will present their innovative proposals in PITCH format to a select group of special guests from the innovation ecosystem. These guests will interact with the participants, providing insights and feedback, co-creating innovative and scalable solutions to improve society, companies, schools, and cities.

 

How can I present my project at the event?

Take your academic work (course project, scientific initiation, thesis, master’s, doctoral research), invite your colleagues, and present it at the event in the following categories:

IDEATION

• Project conception


• Basic prototyping

ADVANCED

• Well-defined prototype or product


• Early commercialization process

The Event Handbook is available in Portuguese. However, the Virtual Assistant (see instructions bellow) has been trained using the manual as its main reference. All your questions can be clarified directly with the assistant. In addition, the assistant will support you in filling out the banner: it will help you reflect, rewrite, edit, improve, and showcase the best version of your work.
