Welcome to the 3rd ABCM Energy School

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd ABCM Energy School, which will take place from September 27 to October 1, 2027, at the new campus of the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. This edition is organized by ITA, the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), and the State University of Ceará (UECE), bringing together three important academic institutions committed to education, scientific research, and technological development.

Traditionally, the ABCM Energy School focuses on a central theme of great relevance to the energy sector. This third edition will be dedicated to Wind Energy, addressing its scientific and technological challenges and exploring emerging opportunities in the field. The program will also encompass related topics, including hybrid energy generation systems and energy storage technologies, highlighting their importance in improving the efficiency, flexibility, and reliability of modern energy systems.

As the global energy landscape continues to evolve, wind energy plays an increasingly important role in the transition toward a more sustainable and low-carbon future.
