The aim is to bring together researchers working in various fields of multiphase flows, such as disperse flows, gas\u2013liquid and liquid\u2013liquid flows, flows in porous media, boiling, condensation, etc. The Journeys combine training and knowledge upgrading by exchanging experiences between academy, researchinstitutes and industry,in a strategic area for scientific and technological development of Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>Exceptionally this edition ofthe Journeys will comprise only the EBEM \u2013 Brazilian School of Multiphase Flow, because the ICMF 2019 \u2013 International Conference of Multiphase Flow will be also held in Rio de Janeiro, just one day after the EBEM. Therefore, the realization ofEBECEM (Brazilian Meeting of Boiling Condensation and Multiphase Flow), which traditionally occurs within the JEM,would be redundant.<\/p>\n<p>The EBEM is a two-day school composed of lectures on several topics related to multiphase flows. The local organizing committee welcome the submission of original contributions from students and researchers for a Poster presentation.
