Guidelines for preparing and sending oral presentations. Deadline: October 8.
At COBEM2021, the oral presentations will have the form of videos with slides and your camera as mentioned below. The presentations must be sent by the authors in advance. During the oral session, all authors and the session chair will be online with cameras and microphones turned on. The video will be exhibited by the congress organizer for 10 min and an additional 5 min will be used for live questions and answers with the congress participants.
Attention, the author must be logged in on the day and time of his/her presentation! In case of a no-show, the paper will not be included in the congress proceedings.
Below you can find instructions regarding the preparation and submission of your oral presentation. Please read it carefully:
Preparing the oral presentation:
- Use the template file available at the link below to prepare your slides, considering the maximum time of 10 minutes for the paper presentation. (LINK)
- The paper code must be assigned as the file name (ex. COBEM2021-xxxx.mp4).
- The presentation size must be 16:9 (1920 by 1080 pixels)
- The use of pictures, tables, and graphs is encouraged in order to make your presentation clear.
- All oral presentations must be both written and spoken in English.
- For slide preparation and screen and video recording, we suggest ZOOM, PowerPoint, OBS, or OCAM. Tutorials to help you in your video production are presented below.
Submitting the oral presentation:
- Remember to name your video file using your paper code: COBEM2021-xxxx.
- Upload the file using any sharing platform: YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or WeTransfer, the latter being the most recommended.
- After the file is uploaded, you must fill in the form below, and in the “LINK” field, insert the URL to share your video. Form: https://forms.gle/19f6d8Lkyt7jrTUj9
Notes:
– Does not upload your file using the link at the ABCM’s paper submission system.
– The submission of the video within the deadline is the responsibility of the presenter (author or co-author). Deadline: October 8.
– Remember to make the LINK public so that there is no problem downloading your video.
