The Organizing Committee, in partnership with Springer Nature and ABCM, will give COBEF 2023 authors the opportunity to submit their articles as chapters for the book:
ABCM Series on Mechanical Sciences and Engineering – 12th Brazilian Manufacturing Engineering Congress – COBEF
The publication will be indexed by Springer Nature and will count as a new publication for interested authors. Therefore, a new submission in the Springer Nature template is required.
All papers submitted to “ABCM Series on Mechanical Sciences and Engineering – 12th Brazilian Manufacturing Engineering Congress – COBEF” must be in English* and will be submitted to another review. Review papers will not be accepted.
*If the paper accepted to COBEF 2023’s annals is written in Portuguese, the authors can translate it to English to submit it to the ABCM Series.
It is worth mentioning that submission to Springer Nature is voluntary and failing to send it does not interfere with the publication of the paper in the annals of the event.

Springer Nature Submission – step-by-step
Information:
– The ABCM Series on Mechanical Sciences and Engineering – 12th Brazilian Manufacturing Engineering Congress – COBEF will provide great visibility to the authors and their works since Springer Nature is one of the largest publishers of books and scientific journals nowadays and includes indexing in different important sources for research.
– The text must be in English. Thus, we kindly ask the authors to carefully review the translation of the paper before sending it.
– It is necessary to make a new submission through the link (https://equinocs.springernature.com/service/COBEF2023), there is a step-by-step guide (above) available to assist authors.
– The Springer template (above) must be followed for this submission. Papers submitted outside the template will not be accepted.
– The authors must be the same as those in the paper accepted for publication in COBEF 2023’s annals.
– There will be a new review stage for the selection of papers that will make up the book.
– Small changes to improve clarity, as well as improvement of images/figures, are allowed. However, authors must not add different results or omit results presented in the paper accepted for publication in COBEF 2023’s annals.
– Only articles accepted and presented at COBEF 2023 will be able to compose the published version of the book.
